Twitter's Funeral Service
Pay Your Respect
April 1, 2023
Call for Art Entries
Curated by Sentient Milk (David Hanan & Corrina Espinosa)
Location TBD
Obituary: Twitter was born in 2006 and during its short life it became a popular platform for everyone from ordinary people and celebrities to politicians, making it possible to share succinct snippets of information faster than any news source in the history of media. Twitter is survived by Instagram and TikTok and is preceded in death by MySpace and Tumblr.
In lieu of flowers we are mournfully seeking artwork in the form of visual epitaphs, eulogies, memorials, tributes, accolades, shrines, memorials, reliquaries, songs, prayers, benedictions, tombstones, processions, coffins, burial plots, grave markers, condolences and any other creative funerary practices to help the Twitter Platform move on in its journey to the otherside.
Let us pray as we witness the platform take its
final breaths in a terminal gasp...
“Goodbye Cruel World…”
